CLLR. FONATI KOFFA TRIUMPH IS A WIN FOR ALL LIBERIANS

It has been a tedious journey navigating our way in a highly contested Speakership race for the 55th Legislature.

We came to the end of the road today being victorious through our leader, fellow partisan and astute lawyer, Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa, a man who has been tried and tested.

For us, this is a monumental feat for all Liberians and we remain hopeful that the future is bright and the Legislature is on an irreversible path to delivering for all Liberians.

I am even more grateful that Cllr. Fonati and the new administration will be focused on key issues: fight against corruption, infrastructural development especially roads connectivity as started by Amb. George WEAH and putting back on the agenda discussions focused around Wars and Economic Crimes Court.

Our colleagues on the other side of the aisle I will plead with you like the Speaker said, “It’s time to govern and not the usual politics” to pull others down, tarnish reputation and derail everything that should benefit Liberians.

In our governance system we should always focus on the general good of all Liberians and leave out the trivialities for it’s never too late to right the wrongs and place Liberia on the right trajectory.
