Hon Frank Saah Foko

Early Life

Hon. Frank Saah Foko got his primary education in Grand Bassa County at the St. Peter Claver Catholic High School. He later enrolled at the Apostolic Foundation High School (the Dolphins Kingdom) in Monrovia where he obtained his High School Diploma in 2009. Because of his astute leadership style, our Guest was elected and served that noble Institution as Students Council President.

Considering the importance of higher education and the role it serves in national and global development, our Guest Speaker enrolled at the State-run University and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration in 2019 and he is currently a Master’s candidate at the Cuttington University Graduate School studying Public Administration.

Our Guest Speaker had a humble beginning and as a humble person, he never considered any job too small to serve in as much as it provides services to the people. Therefore, he has served in many different capacities both in the private and public sectors before rising to prominence.

Personal Life

In the private sector– Hon. Foko served as the Sales Manager and Head of Trade Marketing for Orange Liberia- where he focused on developing and overseeing all aspects of the Company’s marketing activities. He also served as Supervisor and Manager at Total in Bong County. Furthermore, Our Guest Speaker is the President of the Apostolic Foundation High School Alumni Association.

In the Public Sector– Hon. Foko has served progressively in various capacities: He served as Special Assistant and Chief of Office Staff to the late Hon. Munah E. Pehalm Youngblood at the 54th National Legislature. He was also appointed as the Inspector General (IG) for the National Water Sanitation and Hygiene Commission (NWSHC) where he was responsible for improving the effectiveness, and efficiency of that entity. While serving in that position, Our Guest Speaker helped to minimize malpractices at the Commission.

Work in Congress

Currently, Hon. Foko is a sitting Law-Maker at 54th Legislature representing the people of Electoral District #9, Montserrado County. Based on the trust and confidence reposed in him by the people of District #9, was re-elected as Representative at the 55th National Legislature. As a lawmaker, he occupies some key and strategic positions in the House of Representatives:

He’s the Co-Chair of the House Standing Committee on Good Governance and House Statutory Committee. Also, he is a Co-Chair of the Committee on Youth and Sports. Not only that, Our Guest Speaker is a member of the Committee on Maritime and Public Account.
